In college I gained political experience representing the student body on the student government and caucus. I led students to the Legislature three times to pressure Governor Lingle into releasing over 18 million dollars for
Over the years, I have traveled to 22 countries and studied intensely how their governments operate. It is through this experience that I hope to bring integrity back to local government. We live in uncertain economic times, and I understand the needs of our local economy. Recently, I administered surveys regarding issues challenging local small businesses, and coordinated the first Hawaii Island Economic Entrepreneur’s Forum for the Kanoelehua Industrial Area Association, Inc.
